Some good chili and cheese would improve the edibility of those cheap hot dogs.

Thanks. I bought some el-cheapo, store brand hot dog sauce some time back that I haven’t opened yet – might be just the thing???

Actually I found out they’re much better just grilled/pan fried until you get some good charring and blistering and lots of it. Yesterday, I simmered then pan grilled very briefly. Actually had two for a late lunch just now, one plain, one with Batampte mustard. No buns or other condiments; hash browns on the side.

These things may not wind up consigned to the deepest, darkest depths of the GE for all eternity after all.

I may try some home made beanie-weenies, too.
