Thanks, David NYC. It’ll be next week at least before I make another run (or order curbside) to HEB. I have no plans right now to make the trek to a TJ’s, which is a lot farther. Looking forward to getting my hands on some A&H.
I had discovered soon after Aldi came to town that some of their DK products are made in the USA but had forgotten about the labels. I’ve read somewhere most of Aldi’s Parklane or Parkview (?) sausages are made for them in Wisconsin – Saum(s) – can’t recall if that’s a town or a company.
I can’t find any notes I’ve made about the Aldi wieners – either forgot to make notes or they weren’t branded as DK. I find a Bavarian brand wieners on a listing of DK products online. I’m pretty sure I’ve had 2 different products and one had Black Forest in the name, but I can’t find anything in my notes.
I can get D&W here at Randall’s (Safeway) – New York Deli style beef and Black Forest pork and beef. Both good, both NC, I tend to like the p&B better.
Used to be able to get NC Sabrett’s but can only find skinless now; same for Nathan’s NC (also at Randall’s).
