Chicago-centric foodie website LTHForum.com shut down for maintenance this weekend, then reopened about six hours later. This is not the astonishing part of the story. No, the amazing thing is, after going back on line–hold onto your hats–the site looked and functioned EXACTLY THE SAME as it did before the maintenance!!!

Of course I was overwhelmed with emotion at this accomplishment. I sincerely hope the volunteer administrators of the site will share their secrets with the rest of the internet community so this type of consistency can be experienced by all.
