Yep, it’s a furr piece as we say. I’ve been only once, 30 years ago or so when I was in the RGV and decided to take a day to dash over to South Padre and nipped the edge of Brownsville. Knew nothing about the taco street.

I’ve spent some time in Corpus; never found anything very good to eat there but it’s been about 30 years, too. Decided to check out Kingsville where I had relatives in the 40s and 50s, hoping to find something interesting to eat near the King Ranch. Nuttin! So I got back on the highway and decided to head on down to Brownsville again. After about 30 mins, saw a sign about how far it was to Brownsville. I looked for the next turnaround and headed back.
