Looks good! Also looks a bit time consuming for someone aching from the eye teeth to the coccyx and beyond.
I’ve been using the same chicken soup recipe for a couple of decades but I still like to try out others for new ideas. There was a time I just used chicken broth with lots of onions and garlic but now it’s more complicated. I particularly like dark greens with whole leaf spinach or swiss chard the best.
Thanks for reminding me of angel hair. I’ve actually been fixing a big mug of broth pretty regularly during this period and been wondering what pasta I could add for a little more body (usually have some onion, cabbage and garlic in it already). Duh. Forgot all about angel hair, vermicelli, even though I have a package buried in the pantry (labeled fideo). That goes in the next mug I fix.
Always have Maggi Pollo on hand but also use Minor’s soup bases.
And leaning over the pot is a chef’s perk. I wonder if Julia or Jacques, etc., have ever confessed to doing that?
I’m not sure about those fungi, tho. What if you’ve picked up a fungus instead of a virus — seems like that’d just rile the blood up (lol).
