I’ve been thinking about the gift certificate thing for quite a while, and while I think it’s a great idea, I have to agree with both Irisarbor and David that we just don’t know who’s going to make it through this intact and I’d hate to get hung with potentially a couple hundred dollars in worthless cards.

Except Slyman’s, it looks like most of these places are doing takeout, and between that and the bipartisan small business packages that have been passed by Congress, I’m confident they’ll stay afloat through and after the crisis.

Ohio is slated to begin reopening in May, so we’ll start looking at some potential dates then.
