I am reading a dime novel that I had a researcher at the University of Minnesota xerox for me some years ago. I just now got around to reading it. It’s “Dr. Death; or, Old King Brady and the Golden Skull.” (New York Detective Library, no. 468, November 14, 1891).

Like all of the Old King Brady dime novels, it’s well-told and full of action from start to finish.
