Right now, I’m reading a thread on the Roadfood News Forum which is especially mangled. I can’t tell if the same posts are being repeated with a new author’s name each time, or it’s because the quotes there appear in the same typeface as the message. Ironically, the title of the thread is “Roadfood.com sold to Fexy Media”,
This article announced the sale of Roadfood.com to Fexy Media. There are some nuggets just like this one, posted along with hundreds of others at exactly the same date and time, June 20, 2006 at 8:22 AM:
“I am cautiously optimistic. Optimistic, because if all they do is revamp the mobile site my world will be infinitely better. Cautious because I was part of a site that got bought by a media conglomerate and it took them three short years to completely KILL what used to be a fabulous, community based place to share recipes and socialize about food, all while assuring us that the sky was still blue as it grew steadily closer to black.”
The post is attributed to felix4067 but who knows who actually wrote it. The thread is especially corrupted.
