I hear you. I had a chicken-fried steak at Hoover’s, but it isn’t really my thing. But I loved the porky green beans I had on the side. And there was good cream pie at the Blue Bonnet Cafe in Marble Falls. Unfortunately, one of my periodic bouts of acid reflux popped up on that trip and I didn’t get to do all of the eating I had planned on.
