Ed, thanks for posting this. Hope it’s helpful and that you and the Mrs. can make it to NYC sooner rather than later. I’m not familiar with Rizzo’s though I saw some pics on Google Images of those square slices and they do look good.

My wife and I went to Angelo’s on time before a show and we liked it. This was about 10 years ago so the details are hazy.

I’ve walked by the Patsy’s on 56th a number of times when I worked in the area but I’ve never eaten there. I may have seen the same TV show you did and it looked like some good eats.
