I think Root Beer Man’s synopsis of Lisa’s message was sarcastic on purpose. It will be more clear if I rewrite his exact quote with two of the words in capitals:
“So, according to an email that Jane got from the head person at Fexy, the dissatisfaction with the NON-FUNCTIONAL FORUM is all our faults.”
This is why I think Lisa doesn’t know yet exactly how wrong this migration went.
I’ve been counting livestock today, and it doesn’t look good. The last quote than I can find from Elan was in this message from David Sanders, which he somehow managed to post on December 9th in the no-mans land of the Roadfood News & Information Forum with the title of “A Facebook message from Roadfood”:

I found some references on the web what Elan starting performing the duties of Roadfood webmaster soon after Fexy purchased the Roadfood property from the previous owners. Then, her name appeared on that Relish site message. I’m throwing this out to everyone: have you heard anything from Elan after December 9, 2019?

I had complained to the “support” page of the Roadfood website about the disaster they have made of the Forums. The reply from December 9th was that they were sorry “some folks are unhappy with the change and we’re working as quickly as we can to fix the things that are broken.”
On February 15th I wrote this reply: I think saying folks are unhappy is really trivializing what has become of the website. For instance, at least four of my last trip reports have no content whatsoever in them, and the few that I found that do have some content are out of order and truncated. If nothing is going to be done I think the company should own up to what they’ve done and at least apologize to those of us who spent many many hours of our lives supporting and using what was once a very good and popular site.
Needless to say, I have not received a reply, let alone an apology.
I’m assuming that this post, and all other complaints about the Forums will continue to go unanswered, and I’m sorry to say, the incompetence that is now running this website will continue.
