I noticed a couple of carts around town selling hot dogs for a buck. Even with no condiments, how the heck much can someone make selling a $1.00 hot dog? It’d have to be pencil-thin and "mystery-meat." Even if they made 85 cents, it’s not worth the time and effort as I see it. These are not daily specials, they’re on their permanent menu boards. These carts are not in poor neighborhoods either, they cater mainly to the banking crowd in Uptown Charlotte. Any comments?
