Turkey Sandwich

Turkey in a turkey sandwich can be nothing more than bland slices from a deli loaf. Or it can be full-flavored meat retrieved from a freshly roasted bird. It frequently makes an appearance in mile-high deli sandwiches along with other cold cuts, cole slaw and garnishes. A hot turkey sandwich, which can be as evocative as Thanksgiving dinner, includes gravy and perhaps stuffing and cranberry sauce and comes with mashed potatoes on the side. It is an open-face affair, demanding utensils and a stack of napkins.
