Tres Leches Cake

Light and porous enough that a good soak in three kinds of milk (cream, condensed, evaporated) doesn’t weigh it down, tres leches sponge cake is an ethereal dessert. It is served with a halo of cinnamon-dusted whipped cream and maybe a few pieces of berry on top. Curiously, although it is Mexican, it is not all that common on typical Mexican-American menus.
