Swedish Pancakes

How ethereal can a pancake be? Swedish pancakes are a good answer to this question. They are more like crepes than pancakes: too thin to efficiently sever with the edge of a fork unless you fold one over on itself one or two times on the plate. They are eggy and cream-colored with a muffled buttermilk tang, webbed with a fine gold lace pattern from their brief term on a hot grill, and they glisten with butter. They are served not with syrup, but with lingonberries or lingonberry jam.
