Spring Rolls

Spring rolls are like egg rolls, but made using eggless dough for the wrap. This makes a spring roll less chewy and more fragile, ready to crack at first bite, its skin sometimes see-through thin. Egg rolls always are fried; spring rolls can be baked. Spring rolls rarely contain pork, as many egg rolls do; nor is cabbage – a basic egg roll ingredient – a common filling.
