Honey Butter Gator Biscuit

Yes, it’s a novelty, but that doesn’t mean that the honey butter gator biscuit served at Cosse’s on the Beach in Pensacola, Florida, isn’t yummy. It is a mess, for sure: a split biscuit in a bowl filled with honey and accompanied by bite-size pieces of fried gator tail. The gator is fine, like churlish chicken; but it’s the honey-soaked biscuit itself that stars – a salty / sweet knock-out punch.
