Deviled Eggs

So beloved an hors d’oeuvre and tailgate snack that special plates are made for the sole purpose of holding them, deviled eggs can be sweet and creamy, devilishly spicy, and sometimes pickle-sweet. It all depends on what you mix with the yolks. Mayonnaise is a constant; mustard and relish are frequently part of the package. Alternate fillings may contain olives, chilies, curry, BBQ sauce, or bits of shrimp.
