Corned Beef Sandwich

A corned beef sandwich is almost always made on rye bread, dressed with mustard, and accompanied by dill pickle spears. Once a Jewish delicatessen trademark, the corned beef sandwich now is common in all sorts of cafes. Milwaukee is especially well-endowed with excellent corned beef, nowhere better than at McBob’s, a corner tavern where it is scrupulously made from scratch and used not only for sandwiches but for corned beef hash.
