Chourico Roll

Portuguese sandwich shops in southern New England are known for chourico rolls, chourico (aka chorizo) being brightly spiced sausage. Either ruggedly crumbled or as a link, it gets wrapped in a twist of pastry and baked – a regional cognate of West Virginia’s pepperoni roll or an Italian calzone.
