Chicken Sandwich

Sandwiches can be made of chicken that is roasted or fried. Naturally, the latter usually is boneless (most especially in a breakfast sandwich), but the esteemed Price’s Chicken Coop of Charlotte, North Carolina, does serve bunned chicken wings, complete with all their bones. Roasted chicken can be sliced, pulled, or chopped, and usually is room temperature or cool. But hot versions including melted cheese are not uncommon. In Newburgh, Indiana, Nellie’s Restaurant makes a Philly chicken sandwich topped with yellow cheese, sauteed onions, mushrooms, and bell peppers. In Missoula, Montana, Tamarack Brewing Company fills its warm chicken sandwich with brie and balsamic-dressed onions.
