Toots Ice Cream - North Yarmouth, ME

If you are looking for a family farm experience, then Toot’s, with its cows out front, is the ice creamery for you. Housed in a full-sized caboose, decisions at Toot’s may come slowly given the wide variety of unique flavors available (like Caramel Cashew, Hazelnut Chip, and Grandma’s Peanut Butter Fudge just to name a few!). One of the greatest strengths of this shop is their ability to provide perfect portions to patrons of all sizes: the 70-cent baby/sample cup in particular is perfect for either satisfying small stomachs or a desire to sample a little bit of everything.

Overall Experiencerating
Licorice Ice Cream - One of the most powerfully rich flavors we have tasted.  Your palette will be cleansed after one spoonful. rating
Expresso Cafe Leche - Smooth coffee flavor with a hint of cinnamon, and an ample amount of chocalate-covered espresso beans within. rating
Apple Pie - Vanilla ice cream with rather large chunks of real apple pie that were too big and too frozen. rating
Coconut Willy Ice Cream - A Maine original-coconut ice cream with Needhams (a coconut and potato candy made in Maine) mixed in.  Fun for fans of the eclectic candy. rating
Vanilla Ice Cream - A creamy subdued flavor and a great base for a healthy helping of hot fudge. rating
Hot Fudge Sauce - Rich and chocolaty, but not necessarily distinctive. rating
