You can get American Spoon products via mail order, but it’s a special treat to walk into one of the handful of American Spoon stores in northern Michigan and be able to sample a wide variety of what they make: grapefruit marmalade, cherry marmalade, cherry-berry nut mix (dried cranberries and tart cherries with almonds and pecans), roast apple and onion relish, barbecue and grilling sauces, and cherry poppers, which are freeze-dried, sugar-crusted cherries that are as addictive as popcorn.
