There will be live Zydeco music (you can join the band, as pictured above!), all the crawfish you can eat (March is the peak of crawfish season), an open-pit whole-hog roast, cauldrons full of jambalaya, all the beer and wine you can drink, and the incomparable joy of an a true Cajun party. On the Bayou
The party takes place in the bayous about a half hour from the city, but in a setting that seems like another world, including alligators peeking up from nearby waters. There are a limited number of tickets, at $99 per person. That includes everything: food, drinks, entertainment, and transportation to and from the French Quarter.
