It's not enough that they've been closed since last fall by flooding caused by Hurricane Sandy, now the original Coney Island Nathan's (see the Roadfood.com review) has to deal with fire. This past Saturday morning, New York City firefighters extinguished a fire at the famed hot dog restaurant. Nathan's has been working to reopen by the summer, and they're claiming this fire won't affect those plans. In the meantime, we're expecting locusts to be the next plague to hit Nathan's.
