The Missouri River won the battle but not the war. Two years after Omaha's Surfside Club was closed by the overflowing Missouri, they are reopening. The big day is this Friday, May 3rd. The restaurant, which previously served only fried catfish and fried chicken, along with corn fritters and honey, will be adding a few items to the menu. They're also opening an adjacent marina for boating customers (presumably the ones that aren't mooning the patrons from their boat, a local tradition). We wonder: will the cranky sign remain?
