Less than a year after opening, the second Ann Arbor Grand Traverse Pie Company franchise, at 505 East Liberty Street, has closed (see the review of the GTPC flagship in Traverse City, MI). The owner said downtown Ann Arbor just never warmed to the menu, although his other GTPC in Ann Arbor is thriving. There are currently 14 Grand Traverse Pie Company stores: 13 in Michigan and one in Indiana.

A couple of years ago I was going to a memorial service on the northwest side of Indianapolis, got there early, so I wanted to try out this place which was nearby. But this Indianapolis outpost on North Michigan Road had apparently gone out of business just a few weeks before I got to it. I guess the only remaining one in Indiana is the one in Terre Haute?

That's right. At one point they had three Indiana outposts.
