Duff Wings
Duff's Wings of Buffalo, NY (see the Roadfood.com review) has begun franchising, and a Texas-based group has signed an agreement to open Duff's in the Dallas area. The first branch, slated for early next year, is planned for the Dallas suburb of Southlake. They hope to have three to five Duff's up and running in the Dallas area over the next two years, eventually reaching a total of ten stores in Texas. They want to continue the Buffalo theme with the inclusion of beef on weck on the menu, but it's been a struggle to find a local baker who can properly produce the unique salt-and-caraway-spangled rolls.

Lucky Dallas. Duff's has great wings. Looks like I need to find a wing place for lunch today. Thanks Bruce!
