Surfside
We posted here, way back in June of last year, about the Missouri River flooding that closed down Omaha's Surfside Club for the summer. It never reopened and, while no official word has been given on the fate of the restaurant, it appears that Surfside is closed permanently. The restaurant was supposedly put up for auction earlier this year, though we can't find any news on the results of that auction, or if it ever took place. Their last post on Facebook was April 18th of this year: "We appreciate everyones concern! We still do not know the future for Surfside. As soon as we know something we will update everyone."
