Louis Lunch
Last month, CNN ran a feature on ten great historic restaurants in America's cities. Included on the list were past or present Roadfood favorites Canlis in Seattle, Swan Oyster Depot in San Francisco (see the Roadfood.com review), and the Berghoff in Chicago (see the Roadfood.com review). This month, they venture beyond the major cities for ten more historic spots, including Louis Lunch in New Haven, CT (see the Roadfood.com review), the Brookville Hotel in Abilene, KS (see the Roadfood.com review), and Shady Glen in Manchester, CT (see the Roadfood.com review). Both articles are recommended for those who enjoy a little history with their vittles.

1 Comments:

Louis' Lunch is definitely an icon. The burgers there are delicious. The attitude there leaves something to be desired though. Not the friendliest place to dine and I personally think its ban on ketchup is distasteful.
