Cherokee
Cherokee Dining on 12th Avenue, which has been doing business in Denver, CO's Golden Triangle since 1984, has announced that their last day of business will be Sunday, October 14th. Local Cherokee fans are in mourning, especially as they contemplate a Christmas season without the thousands of lights and decorations that the restaurant has been known for. There will be a party, open to the public, at the Cherokee on October 14th after they close for the last time. See the Roadfood.com review of the Cherokee here.

I am sad to learn of this. My son lives on Cherokee St. and when I visit Denver we have had Sunday brunch here. Excellent food and service.
