Rocks Mix
At the northern tip of Maine, just over the border from Canada, sits a town diner called Rock's (see the Roadfood.com review), between signs annoucing the beginning and the end... of US 1. The well-executed menu is a diner classic with a North Country accent: that's a mix above, which is a local take on Canada's famed poutine. This past weekend Jane and Michael Stern paid a visit to Lynne Rossetto Kasper of The Splendid Table to discuss Rock's Family Diner. The show has aired but you can still listen to the Sterns' segment, or the whole show, online.
