The sweet potato ham biscuit pictured here is one goodie to be found on a one-tank-of-gas road trip south out of Washington or Baltimore. Parade magazine asked us to create 10 such trips from major cities around the country. We've always contended that America's best food is accessible and inexpensive. That's what these delicious road trips are all about.

My husband and I are HUGE fans of ham biscuits.Bob is from the south, so these are especially close to his heart. This rendition will be something i will try to re-create. Thanks!
